Pre-seed · Gurugram, Haryana

We have the room.
You bring the company.

VP Incubator gives first-time and early founders three things at once: seed money, a permanent desk in our office, and the infrastructure to build on. You spend your first month writing code, not signing a lease.

Founder desks · Gurugram15 / 15 open

What you get

Three things, and no ambiguity about any of them.

Capital

Seed money

Up to ₹50 lakh, for 7–15% depending on the cheque and how far along you are. The band is published rather than negotiated behind a door.

Space

A desk that is yours

A permanent seat in our Gurugram office for the length of the programme — newly built and freshly furnished, not a hot desk you re-book every morning.

Infrastructure

The boring things, handled

Internet, hardware, meeting rooms, and the operational setup a two-person team should not be spending its first month assembling.

Cheque size Up to ₹50 lakh for 7–15%. Programme runs 3–6 months.Full terms.

What we back

Five sectors we actually understand.

We would rather be useful in a few places than vague everywhere. If you are building outside these, we are probably the wrong room for you — and we will tell you quickly.

  • Developer tools and infrastructure

The unglamorous layers everything else is built on: build tooling, APIs, hosting, browser-native products, the things engineers reach for daily.

  • Games and engines

Studios building something structurally new rather than one more title, and the runtimes, live-service plumbing and creation tools behind them.

  • Creator tools

Software for people who make things — video, audio, writing, interactive work — and the distribution and payment rails that let them earn from it.

  • Consumer internet

Products that earn a place in someone's week rather than just a spot on their home screen, and the networks and protocols underneath them.

  • Commerce and logistics

Storefronts, payments, fulfilment, and the operational software that decides whether a small business survives its second year.

How it works

Four steps. No warm introduction required.

  1. 01

    Apply

A short written application. No deck required, no warm introduction required. Tell us what you are building and why it should exist.

  2. 02

    We read it

Every application is read by a person. You get an answer either way — a rejection you can act on beats silence.

  3. 03

    Conversation

If it is a fit, we talk. This is us understanding your thinking, and you deciding whether we are useful to have around.

  4. 04

    Offer and move in

Terms, paperwork, and a key to the office. You start building with the meter running on nothing but your own ambition.

What we look for

Potential and the quality of the idea.

We are new. We have not made our first investment yet, which means we have no portfolio to impress you with and no pattern we are trying to repeat. We are reading applications on their merits.

In practice that means we care more about how clearly you have thought about the problem than about your CV, your school, or whether anyone has funded you before. A sharp idea explained plainly beats a polished deck around a vague one.

We also have a stated preference, and we would rather be upfront about it than pretend to be neutral: given two comparable companies, we will back the one whose success leaves things better than it found them. Not as a marketing line — as a tie-breaker we apply honestly when the decision is close.

More about us

The desk is empty. That is the whole pitch.

Applications are open now. It takes about twenty minutes to write, and every one gets read by a person.
